Earthquake!

We just had the hugest earthquake I think we've ever had here. The hugest I've ever been in. Much bigger than the one we had in 2001. Things have fallen all over the place in here. One glass candle stick got smashed, but all else is OK. Kitties are all OK.

Yeah, it seems to be about the kind of rock and being in ht emiddle of a plate, rather than on the edge of one like out west, that makes it transmit further. But since the on edge western ones can be much stronger, I think it's only fair that ours can be felt further away. (-; The only other one I was sure I felt was in 2001 and it was just a 2 point something. This lasted so much longer and was so much more intense. Thank you, monks!! *hugs*
