Harry & Penny Update

The rescue that is taking care of baranduin’s Harry & Penny just did a write up on them on FaceBook I tried to link to below, but it didn’t work, so I will upload the pics below.

I have some good news: Penny tested negative for FeLV today. And it’s hard to beleive she could be free of the disease if Harry has it, so I’m really hoping on his next test beign negative. Cross your fingers for him!

They couldn’t retest Harry today because they were scheduled to give him acupuncture. He purred all through it. Lora would be so chuffed to know Harry got acupuncture and loved it.

And please remember, no donation is too small, even $5 to let Feline Friends of Sammamich know that you appreciate what they are doing for Lora’s kitties.

I'm impressed that Harry sat for the acupuncture. My Cleo did in her old age but my ten year old has to be burritoed just to clip his claws. So glad that they are being well cared for.

Thank you so much for all of the updates! I have been keeping up here and on Facebook and it’s good to hear that Harry and Penny Lane are getting such excellent care. I made a donation and hope to make another after I get paid again. And again thank you so much for keeping everyone posted.

I feel like I might have said this in another post, but I can't find it now and my brain is so muddled that it might have been a dream even, but I donated, but forgot to put it in Harry and Penny's name. I hope it still helps their cause (but I guess I am happy that any kitty is getting rescued and taken care of, too, at that place! :))

It’s fine honey!!! Don’t worry about it, but if you can’t help but worry, you could go to the FB page for Feline Friends of Sammamich and comment on one of their entries about Harry and Penny and thank them for their care of them and tell them you donated there. And yeah, I don't expect the donations go to Harry and Penny directly, but are just part of the upkeep of their rescue, which is a great one to support and as a thank you for the time, effort, love, and funds they are expending on our pair of bereft cats. *hugs* We may have a local foster for them, who along with Ami, may be a possible forever home for them--a friend of Lora’s from her years working at Kaiser, that beruscats mentioned to me below and I texted with today.

You may already know this, but Lora's friend J let me know that another local friend just lost her elderly kitty and has contacted Max about adopting Harry and Penny. ♥

Yes, a mutual friend of Lora and J. J said she was very affected by Lora's death.

Maybe J can get her in contact with me. This is very good news for Harry and Penny. <3
