In celebration of possible success, I bought a Gollum action figure today. He is going to be my dissertation mascot. His job is to absorb all the bad mojo working on the dissertation will undoubtedly generate. And maybe when I complete it and get my degree, I'll be able to take a trip somewhere with a volcano and toss him in.(-:

OK, back to do a little more work before coming out to play.(-:

And from what I've heard it's a very accurate acronym. Not sure if Heinlein ever got a Ph.D himself, though. Hmmm... *searches*
