I have finished my damn Tolkien paper! The sucker is going into the prof's box tomorrow and then its out of my hands. I don't know if the extension can hold out to let me continue on in grad school--we'll see--but at least I did this thing.
I might not have been able to make the final push to get my somewhat isolated butt over the edge of my writer's block if it weren't for the encouragement of people here, especially you and you and you.(-: Thank you so much! <3<3<3
Here's the title: "The Traffic in Hobbits: Feminine Values and Critiques of Traditional Masculinity in The Lord of the Rings." Hey, I could have called it the Transgendered Pregnant Hobbit Paper, but I didn't. (-:
Tomorrow evening after work I celebrate by catching up on sleep definitely, and maybe getting to do some entries for my beloved MESPT. Whoo! Then its back to the grind to churn out the second paper, the one that-I-don't-care-about-at-all-I-just-want-it-done, before I can even hope to be out of the forest. But yay, the paper I cared about is done enough to hand in! Years of graduate school induced terror of writing at an end!(-:

Eeee!
I will probably go get my favorite local pizza, play with my poor neglected cats, play some on MESPT and go sleep lots.(-: Yes, a toast to Tollers, who I read an article that said he probably wouldn't have made it in this corporate publish or perish academic climate now either--makes me feel lots better, gentle procrastinator as he was. As for my prof--I'll toast her after she turns in the grade, now that I will find out if she was joking or not when she said to me "just hope it doesn't take as long for me to grade it as it took you to get it to me." I sure hope that was a funny, but ya can't tell with these people.*hopeful smile*
I'll send ya a copy tonight.

TY! (-: I was too strung out and exhausted to do much play. Have started work on my next one, and plan to play on and off all weekend.
