I see that Bingo is on the outskirts of Rivendale now so maybe other puppets will interact with him. I love Bingo's witty, chatty style and especially the line in his last entry where the wraiths "were heedless of the complimentary mint left on each bed--a terrible waste to be sure". That got me snickering first thing this morning. I wish I knew someone like him in real life.
At least you and Iorhael's mun are in the same time zone, I think. Still, with different schedules it's hard to get together to collaborate with someone. Do you both IM and post at the same time? That's what I do with Valonia, the one person with whom I do much collaboration.
I agree that LJ is a new story telling medium. In fact, the whole idea of forming Internet relationships with "friends" that one will probably never meet intrigues me as well. We find each other through our similar interests and bond quickly. Things happen fast. But I'm here for the writing/collaboration relationships, nothing more. This is a new way of connecting for whatever reason. And perfect for the shy, quiet types like me. I can take time to answer and don't have to look at the person when I reply.
And the talent assembled here blows me away. People write with their hearts and souls for fun and for free! This stuff takes HOURS to prepare. You know it; I'm sure BIngo and Iorhael's posts take much time to create.
Yay! Thank you! I'm glad you liked it and thank you for saying so. He never makes the quoteses page Eomer-mun keeps so I kind of think my humor doesn't go over well with most folks.
No, I'm 2 hours earlier, but we've figured out windows we're both on. And yup, we do the IM thing.
I was involved in Xena Warrior Princess online fandom a few years ago and met a number of people I got to know online through conventions and visits. I have a few friends still from that fandom even though I'm on the outskirts of it now, both online and for ocassional visits. I'm probably here because I tried to find LOTR fandom locally after the movie brought me back to this old love, but had no luck. And then I serendipitously connected here. Maybe I'll meet some of the people I play with, maybe I won't, but it's been good.
Yes. There's some great stuff here. People have differrent writing speeds and prep speeds I guess. When Bingo and Iorhael start going off in Elvish is when things get really slow to write. But when your hobbit looks at you and says, "Please, I want to talk to my bf in Elvish," you just have to load those Quenyan dictionaries and go with it.(-;
Sorry, I don't even know you but here all the dreadful things on the radio and am sending safety-kind-of-thoughts your way. For you and your family.
I comment here about Bingo because I don't want to clutter up the comments in his LJ. I about passed out to read that Bingo and Iorhael actually, well, went beyond seduction. Maybe they have before but I was on the edge of my seat with it.
Okay, I'll stop sounding like a teenage fangirl and say in a mature fashion that you and Iorhael-mun are fantastic writers. The puppets discuss issues along with their relationship. Makes it all even more compelling to read.
Thank you so much! (-: Hopefully the coast is clear now.
Either way is fine with me. When I want to comment on one plasticgandalf's threads, would you prefer I posted to your mun journal instead?
"Beyond seduction" is a lovely euphemism, dear(-; Thank you--I'm glad it was fun to read.(-: I'm wondering where I took that wrong turn that turned me into a purveyor of hobbit porn (tasteful hobbit erotica--yeah right! and even still . . .ahahaha!) *adds to the list one more thing NOT to tell mom about*
They did take it past orgasm to sleepy cuddles once before in FF's LJ. The thing we've been trying to do is write past the tasteful fade to black without resorting to what we both consider the really underwhelming vocabulary our language has for sex parts and sex play. It's been a fun challenge.
*blush* Wow!!! Thank you so much for saying that! *bounces about* (-: I showed your comments to Tom (Iorhael/FF mun) before he had to take his one month leave, so I'm hoping he'll remember your comment to cheer him while he's cut off from this writing outlet.
Thanks! You too. I hope the non-fun stuff in life that is getting in your way of Lj posting settles down quickly. Best of luck! See ya!(-:

I can see Bingo's little face staring at you with pleading eyes and making you write in Elvish. He's so cute and adorable with all his expressions.
Sorry, I keep writing you about Bingo. He's just so clever. And serious. And sexy, even. I only hope you and Iorhael's mun can keep up the writing.

Yeah, the manipulative little fucker! He's as bad as my cats!(-;
Sorry? Thank you! You know I want to hear about the hobbit lad being well thought of.(-:

I also have a list of "What not to mention to mom".
I'm sad that Tom has to be pretty much offline for a while. Maybe he can find some peace. Not that I know him at all, just from what he writes.
Life goes on; it has its moments for us all. Things look better now, I just have to put more into my job. Bleh!
