Sometimes, a room full of old lesbians who know all the words is just the number you've got to be in. I'm glad I went to the concert tonight. It was a blast.

I've always loved Cris Williamson's voice--it's just after a few too many times her rhythms on her albums are too much of the same--so it was great to hear them enlivened to some new rhythms tonight; her voice is still as clear and lovely as ever, and the new band she had with her was terrific. And Barbara Higbie--um, wow.

Plus I got some writing done today--so maybe I need to let myself out more often. What a good day. Tomorrow's going to be another good writing day--I feel it.
