Puff Ball

Missing my little spark plug. Saki was less interested in toys her last few months. But when I got home from the Laramie Moot, I gave her one of the puff balls hanarobi gave me, and she played with it for a couple of minutes--the last new toy to wrest any attention from her.






I found the scrappy partial remains of a toy mouse under a pile of clothes last year when decrufting and Saki was so delighted with it then--it went in her bed along with her wool mouse.

It is so lovely to know that Saki enjoyed one of the puffballs from Sophie's collection. Smudge never cared much one way or the other, but Sophie was obsessed with her puff balls.

I didn't know that was one Sophie had played with. I'm so glad they had that connection then. It's in Saki's green bed on the futon, along with her wool catnip mouse, and the bit of fur toy mouse remains. Tuxie has slept there once or twice since Saki has been gone, so he's slept on it.
