It's Caturday, so here's some cats. It's easy to keep track of Saki's weight when she likes sitting on the scale for a little bit.

Moo is copping a snuffle of Saki while she sits on the scale looking the other way. You can see the feet of the observing Tuxie in the background.

Saki is having fun, and Moo and Tuxie want to know why. Ms. Moo weighs in at 16 lbs and gets off that thing as soon as she can. Tuxie weighs in at 18 lbs, and refuses to sit on that contraption, so I have to weigh him in my arms when I stand on my scale.

As usual, Tuxie says wonderingly, "I don't get it. Why Saki? Why?" But he is taking notes because he knows Saki has thoughts, and he hopes one day he will understand them.

Since this pic was taken, Saki is weighing in at 10 lbs currently. She's doing well and I suspect she is no longer hypothyroid since her weight and appetite have come up. Please cross your fingers that she does not go more than slightly hyperthyroid this time and balance will be achieved.

The scale is nice to sit in, and she's getting good attention here. Still, sitting in the Plum Hork or a crinkly plastic bag would be better . . .

She's pretty serious about weighing in.

But now it's time to do something else.

It's a baby scale. They cost a lot on amazon. I think you might do better if you keep an eye on local sales at Babies R Us and department stores. The best is if you know someone whose toddler has outgrown theirs and they want to get rid of it (the scale, that is.)
