Cis is short for cisgendered or cissexual: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisgender. I have evolving issues with the term, because I suspect all people's relationship to gender is somewhat problematic, and I think every person (in western languages at least) who identifies as a female's relationship is, starting with the language that makes women a special class of human and man synonymous with being human. Plus I don't think there's a normalizing problem with binding transgenderedness into a binary with cisgenderedness.
POC is the acronym for person of color.
HRC is the acronym for the Human Rights Campaign, the biggest LGBTIQ advocacy group that tends to be dominated by middle to upper class white cis gay men and so best serves their interests, and so tends to be pretty assimilationist ("just act normal and everyone will treat you as normal--OMG, don't look like such a freak! If I stand next to you I'll never become the CEO of a big corporation!!")
