First and foremost, keep the fires lit. Finish the paper, finish it all. Am cheering for you.
Now about that movie. I walked out of it the first time feeling but one emotion: Anger. But having just seen it again, I can appreciate it more. A few comments to follow.
I loved the music except for Gollum's Song during the credits.
What happened to the Faramir I know and love? He's gone missing.
I didn't want to kill Gollum as much after the second viewing. Pity must have stayed my hand.
Who made this movie anyways? Not the people who created the first one. It felt weird. Perhaps too much got edited out.
Need I say that Frodo and Sam's relationship bothered me? They hardly touched at all and a hug was definitely called for in their, I think, second-to-last scene. All they did was look into each other's eyes. Big whoopie.
I will have to see it a third time in the hopes that my mind will open further and I can like it more. Apologies for the negative spamming.
Weighing in here.
