it's been horrid hot here, too. (and I'm in the 'cool' part of L.A.). Yesterday and today went on walks, tho, and felt good after. Like you, things that used to be of interest, or bring joy, just don't seem to any longer. I think it's a sort of aging thing. Just have to keep slogging on and get through the Dead Marshes of our lives. There's a Shire on the other side, if only we go 'round the wrong way (since going the book way would only take us.....you-know-where).
