For Ms. [livejournal.com profile] jan_u_wine, who wanted to see some frogs. 15 frogs for you, ma'am. I believe they are all bull frogs. Excepting the 1st pictured and the 9th, most of them are female because their tympanum (ear circles) are no bigger than their eyes. These were photoed from April to June around Greenbelt Lake. You'll have to wait until I clear some hard drive space before seeing the July froggies.

Afternoon of a Frog. It is the life.

I spotted and photoed the cutest tiny five-lined (blue-tailed) skink today--such a neon blue tail! Consider that a teaser for a future post. (-:

(I can hear Acker Bilk warming up on his clarinet)

Frogs always looks so....sad, and so knowing. As if they are Elves and have seen the infinite passing of the Ages.

(and have found (as Elves WILL do) the Ages wanting)

Skink? Neon Skink? Can you say "Party"? oh, yeah!

Yeech! But they're essential to the natural order so I guess, go frogs. lol

I heard some bullfrog action here in my new place when I first moved in, but not so much lately! I have seen some frogs jumping in, though! ;) I rather like frogs...These are some beauties!

I love these! My friend Tara, the one you met in NY at Radio City? She loves frogs. I'm going to show her this post as it will make her day.
