Yes. Frodo's cranky with Gandalf and tells him to give him more time. He displays competence, wit, learning, and cosmopolitanism in greeting the Elves in their own language, and not to mention his bravery in the Barrow Downs, he shows bravery beyond the other hobbits in stabbing at the ringwraiths on Amon Sul (opposite of how PJ portrayed him), even though he still lacked battle prowess, and again when he defied the ringwraiths at the Ford of Bruinen. They took away all his early acts of bravery and wit and gave all that to their early Bilbo. I think Frodo should file a grievance against New Line studios. (-;
