Earthquake in Maryland today! *checks off item on her dangerous natural events experienced list*

So that makes a hurricane and an earthquake this fall--a tornado two falls ago.

*looks at next item on list: volcanic eruption* So what's the likelihood . . . (-;

So I was thawing out from my job interview, lying on the couch with Saki cat on my belly when I felt the tremors and heard things rattle. And what was Saki's reaction? Zzzzzzzzzzzzz . . . . didn't move a whisker--so much for animals' sense of these things. It was a 4.5, which is barely worth mentioning for you West-coasters Stateside, but for us it was something.

And that job interview I just mentioned? Cross your fingers for me--I reeeeeally want this job!!!! It could be just terrific. Now, how am I going to pull my hopes down from off the ceiling so I won't be crushed like a little squishy thing when/if they say no? Le sigh.

And Milli cat spent the day at the vet getting her teeth cleaned. She was very cute when I took her home, sitting in my lap looking out the window and really enjoying the ride. OMG! My baby was alooone away from home during the earthquake!!! *slaps self* Yeah, I know it would be safer to have her in a case and strapped in, but she reacts horribly to that, so we live dangerously, wild things that we are.

Me tired.
