That's a really good point. I know when I lived in Florida, I took pics of the palm trees all the time because they make me so blissfully happy inside. I really miss them now that I don't live there. I'm glad I didn't take them for granted at the time!
Palm trees make me happy, too. Such pretty silly things! But they represent vacation for me since I haven't lived below the palmetto line. I love crossing over that line halfway down through South Carolina where the palmettos and date palms start springing up.
The east coast has a riotous diversity of plant life--I need that around me I think. Our area is not all that hilly until you get north and west of Baltimore, but it's definitely hillier than where I lived in southern New Jersey and mid North Carolina on the piedmont.
You're welcome! And I'm glad you feel that way, too. It's the only really nice fall day I got to be out in and posting it here slowly has made me feel like I got a longer fall.

Your icon is very appropriate to that video of the coconut-toting octopus that is going around--crazy lil thing.

Being in Tx a couple of weeks ago which is extremely flat, makes me appreciate the hills and foliage we have here in this pt of the country so much.
