Hey there! They've been putting up pics at mesptmuns and I'm feeling the pangs of peer pressure. I scanned a pic at the copy store today and put one in my mac account--let's see if a link works. I just may not be able to upload it directly. How are you feeling today?
Hey you who remains nameless, it worked as a link in the post below! I'm just learning to do some new technological thingie every day--biscuit for me! Cool now I can put some of my drawings up. And most importantly, the kitties! Yippee!! This is a milestone! Go me!
Ohhh, shoulder rubs and I make you tea, sweetie! Early bed--good grrl!
I'm experimenting to see if I can do this picture thing:
I haven't done too much with putting the name of the pic in the tag. What I would suggest trying here is replace the "PhotoAlbum2.html" with "picturename.jpg" img alt="Vandy Took" src="http://www.homepage.mac.com/cdbreak/PhotoAlbum2.html/" /
So I believe it would look like this: (plus the < > brackets) img src="http://homepage.mac.com/cdbreak/.cv/cdbreak/Sites/.Pictures/VandyTook.jpg-thumb_121_91.jpg"
What you have here is the path to your homepage that has your pictures on it. As well as the actual picture itself. Anyway, there are a couple of suggestions. If I were more familiar with the Mac homepage site, I could help you out more, but I use a different server.
I just got back online to find your thoughtful posts--thank you! Thank you for your help here and other offers of help, you lovely person you--you're making me feel warm and fuzzy--and I haven't become a kitty or a hobbit, completely that is, yet. (-:
Lemme try this out and see if I can get it to work:
Thank you! What you put totally works! I have no idea how you found the pic's addy though--the one I had listed is the only one I was able to find. I'm obviously technologically impaired. (-:

Glad it worked! I wasn't sure if that was the right address. I'd be willing to tell you, but it would take a lot of explaining, and a knowledge of what software you are using to connect to the web. Ugg, that sounds pretentious! Basically, the picture is wherever you uploaded it to, so you would probably work backwards from there. :)

Better but a bit shaky and sniffly. But better than I was yesterday. I'm taking it fairly easy, and an early night is on the cards.

I'm going to try to figure out how to set up my earthlink webpage, so I'll probably leave that one behind soon anyway.
