I was looking for last minute things at the dollar store on Friday for this photo shoot, and saw that bag of rings in the wedding decorations section and was amused by their nightmare potential for the poor hobbit. We're cruel to our hobbits because we love them. (-;

What I wanted to say is that I'm *thrilled* your link was there before we'd left (I've just made sandwiches to take on the plane). I love that you put the Great Eye on the pumpkin, and positioned a shelob-spider nearby. Is it any wonder Frodo is not fond of the holiday???? Great display, Lavender, and thanks for posting before I actually left.

Yeah, your icon is pretty much how Bingo felt about this photo shoot.

Awww, I'm so glad this was a good send-off for you! I know I heard about someone before carving a Great Eye into a regular-sized pumpkin, so an oldy but goody there. I was actually looking in the dollar store for a witch's hat and came home with these other props, though I had gotten the tiny pumpkin he's holding at the dollshow. I was most mean to my poor Bingo doll, though my sockpuppet is having a ball with all the folks stopping in to talk to him (whether they want to or not :-P). Thank you for saying so, and you're very welcome. Hope the trip is a good one!

This is the Sideshow 12" Frodo action figure. It's an expensive toy at $60, but really nicely done. I need to pony up the cash and get him his Side show Sam.

And I guess you have figured out that if you comment on Bingo's LJ, you will get Bingo responding because he loves new friends. I started on LJ writing his journal before I started keeping my own, and collecting old friends and new on my flist, and I still enjoy giving him voice, so thanks for stopping in there.
