lavendertook Sep. 30th, 2008 10:22 pm)Since there is still a media blackout on this news (with exceptions of decent regional newspapers like the Boston Globe and Philadelphia Inquirer) outside of the blogosphere, I wanted to make sure no one on my flist has missed that a room full of women and children attending a Ramadan prayer service in a Dayton Islamic society center were attacked with poison gas.
This incident comes on the heels of a mass mailing in swing states of an anti-Muslim dvd by a rightwing group supporting the McCain campaign.

Guess it only matters when it happens to white Christians. Please spread the word on this.
Not fun news to wish you all a Happy Rosh Hashanah and Ramadan on, but I wanted to include the folks who went through this attack in those good wishes for healing and renewal.
