My dad is getting a catheterization tomorrow. It's mainly exploratory, so we can find out what the next step is for his heart condition before we can reschedule his spinal surgery. So we'll see from there. It's same day surgery, so he'll be home tomorrow evening. This is just dragging out so badly for him. I'll be going up to Jersey tomorrow to spend the weekend with them.

My foot is finally getting better--the fascia has healed and the pain is just localized around the bone spur. So between the physical therapy, the night splint, stretches, and the cushion it finally dawned on my to put under my foot when I'm driving, I'm finally getting better--I'm still mad the podiatrist dragged things out so many months before sending me to PT sp that I lost the summer--oh well. It will never be 100% due to the bonespur, so no more long walks up and down the Outer banks from Kitty Hawk to Nags head and back like I used to do. )-: But I should be able to get it to the point that I can do a couple mile walks again--hopefully a little longer without too much pain, and will just have to get back into using a bike for my longer adventures. And more fun--my crown on my bottom tooth popped off yesterday--so one end starts to heal and the other one goes. Yay. I'll get that put back on Wednesday when we decide whether to go with an implant or bridge for the upper tooth.

I brought Tuxie up to stay the night since it's going to go down into the upper 30's tonight--the coolest it's been yet. He kept cuddling in my lap when I came back from my swim, so I couldn't leave him out there. I saw Moo earlier this evening, but she wasn't around when I came back and I couldn't leave Tuxie out there since he was glued to my lap. I'll go down and look for Moo one more time before bed. He's sitting on the cat condo, and after initial hisses, everyone is doing fine and starting to relax.

I've been reading the Harry Potter books the last couple months for stress relief--they are a lot of fun and do get better and better. Always nice when something popular is actually good. I'm on TOotP right now. My mom has been reading them, so we should be able to have good chats about that. And I'm going to take my laptop up there with me--it's still in the box, so maybe I'll take it out and figure it out while there.
