Thanks so much to you who were able to help me with choosing the best pictures of the strays and made suggestions.

They got entered today on a rescue group's adoption site here with links to their bio's that I wrote up last night here and here. So they're movie stars now--let's hope they get discovered. (-;

I've also pasted their fuzzy little mugs on ads I've been putting up in Petco's and Petsmarts in Greenbelt, Beltsville, Laurel, Bowie, and Rockville. I had one call thus far--someone just interested in Tuxie--but it didn't sound like a great prospect--I'm going to be careful to screen the kitties' potential human servants carefully.

I keep debating whether I'm willing to have them be separated or not. Last week when I was hosting them in my efficiency for a few days as Moo recovered from her spaying, there were a couple times when Moo hissed at Tuxie to get away from her, which made me feel maybe separation wouldn't be the worst thing for them. But then today, I saw Moo following Tuxie on one of his determined little hunts across the lawn, and then saw them zooming around together playing tag this evening, so separating them feels like it would be a horrible thing to do--where would they find a bond like that with another cat? Hopefully, someone good who can take them both will turn up and make this problem moot.

She may have hissed at him because she was feeling under the weather. If she was still in pain or groggy from the meds, he's probably lucky she didn't bat him one.

(-: I think it was more of a territorial hiss. When he tried to fold in on her, she was on the couch next to me--prime real estate for a cat vying for human ownership--and she does NOT share power. (-;

I wouldn't be concerned by Moo hissing at Tuxie. Moo could have definitely been not feeling good or not been in a great mood. Brutus hisses and growls at Runt quite a bit when he's eating or like the other day, found some pancake on the floor, but they are great playmates and I can't see them ever being parted from each other (even though I know that will happen one day when Kalie decides to move out).

Yeah, I'm learning their hisses don't mean hostilities are about to ensue. There was a lot of hissing on all sides when I brought Tuxie in the other night between him and Milli and Saki, but mainly they were "keep your distance" hisses and each are listening to the other. That night, Tuxie saw me in bed and came up. It was only when he got close that he saw Saki was on the bed guarding me--his eyes got wide and he made these series of hisses as he turned tail and ran away, like "Aaaagghhhhhhh!!! It's YOU!!!!!"--it was so funny--poor lil guy.
