Here's more pics of the stray mom cat and kitten I'm looking after. Today Tuxie abandoned batting around a rhinoceros beetle he had when he saw the cord on my camera dangling, thus proving there is nothing in the great outdoors that can compare with a piece of string.

I've found the the only thing that comes close to the piece of string is the crumpled up piece of paper.

Our own little stray (now a member of the pack), Anna-purna, is getting along fairly well in the house. She may have alpha potential.

Odin's not doing well at all, but that's to be expected. Poor guy. He's the sweetest cat ever.

*hugs*

Even for outdoor cats?

Good for Anna-purna!

I know, hon. He's as loved as a being can be and will be loved to the end--no being can ask for more. *hugshugshugs*

Understood. But if you could keep your ears open for anyone you know who makes a good cat servant looking for a pair, I'd be grateful. Your area is not too far for me to go if a really good home turns up.

Oh my goodness, cute. My fiance's mom had a pack of strays that lives in her yard. They give them the food, shelter, and vet care that they need, and fix them so they wont produce any more little lost kitties. I think its admirable and applaud you for being so kind to the wee babieessss.

Awww--cute icon!

Well, when they follow you around rubbing your legs like Moomoo did, you don't get much choice if you can afford to spare cat food. (-; I wish I could set up a shelter for them--the rescue organizations around here support people setting up stray colonies, but I rent and I'm sure my management wouldn't go for me setting up a shelter outside the apartment building. But these two are socialized and really ready to be house kitties. I will go ahead and get them fixed soon if I can't get them placed with a home or rescue organization. If you hear of anyone good looking for a pair of kitties, please send them my way.
