Arrrrrgh! Begads! Some scurvy dog put a dent in me fine vessel from the bottom of the aft starboard door to the wheel-well!!!

If I find the bildge-sucking varmints, they'll have no quarter from me! One month and one day I've had the Blue Pearl before this most grievous wound. Sputter!!! Sigh.

It was inevitable I suppose, and it won't be the last, but I had hoped it wouldn't be so soon. It might have happened sometime this week before today and I didn't notice, it being on the back passenger side--a hit and run. It's me first shiny new car evah--a bright blue PT-cruiser and it's actually a good thing I've been gilding it like some big blue Xmas ball with silver molding around the door edges because I think the molding saved the door from having some paint chipped, so yay on that. I just had to replace that section of molding. It looks spiffy. There's a little chipping on the wheel well. It's not that bad a dent, but ya know . . . ah well. I think I'll live.

Don't it? The one good thing is that I would have felt worse if I hadn't put the molding on that door yet, wondering if it might have helped protect it some, because it did help some, so that's a plus. There's method to my glitteriness. (-;

That's too bad! I periodically find new dents and dings on my little Geo... but it's 8 years old and not just a one month old baby like your car.

Poor lil GEO. But it's still a thang in its prime--the ole Rainbow Mobile was 14 years old--RIP--'twas a good car with a generous portion of dents.

But yeah, I didn't even get a chance to set up a betting pool for when she'd get her first dent. So unfaaaaaair.

A bright blue PT Cruiser sounds wonderful but the new dent does not. Sounds like a fun car to drive! I'm glad you got it.

Ty. It is a fun car to drive--it's much taller than my Taurus was so the added visibility is great, and if you remember me eyeing them on the road when I was out to see you, it's the only car I've ever coveted, so it's quite a luxury to actually have one to drive and to have been able to afford it. And I don't feel like I'm at the bottom of the Grand Canyon next to SUV's now as well. (-: I guess the dent just makes it an actual part of this world--it's seasoned now. (-;

Ty. (-: It's not a bad one for a first dent. Good luck on your car-fetching journey!
