Farewell, [livejournal.com profile] kielle.

You did wonderful work and play for MESPT, and warmly welcomed me into that community even before I approached it. I will always be grateful for that.

You will be remembered.

I'm sorry for your loss. From the looks of things, so are many others. She must have been something.

Ty--I only found out what she was dealing with a few hours before she died. She'd probably be surprised I was up all that night keeping vigil because we weren't friends due to some mis-crossings, but fellow travellers we were and both loved the MESPT community where I'm still writing. And I've been so sad for her partner and those she was close to. Ten years younger than me--so unfair.

In other news, I ran into your partner and met a brother of yours today!(-: I didn't make the march because it's been a rough week and I needed to take it easy, but I was going down to DC to catch a little of the after concert, get a good walk in, and run some errands, and met them coming back from the march in the Greenbelt metro parking lot, among some thousands of protestors coming back to board charter buses there. (-: Hehe! How's that for timing?

And you're still in TX, right? I hope not the wet part?
