More Vintage Saki
I scanned in a few more "Saki: The Early Days" pre-digital pics tonight, when she was just a tiny noodle. I sure miss that little girl. Sweet Tuxie, who loved his Saki (albeit often in a dysfunctional way), spent several minutes this evening staring at the foot rest where Saki often slept like he was seeing her there. Makes one wonder.

Making herself pretzel comfortable. Who needs yoga pants? Not Saki.

She loved playing with and dragging around mylar ribbon sticks all her life. Mylar ribbon sticks are best chased in front of my slippered foot where she could skid in and wrestle and gut the slipper while chewing on the moving mylar ribbons.

Little furry mouses were next best. In her youth she would chase them when thrown, and sometimes play soccer with them and hit them back to me to throw again. In later days, they were mostly good for knocking off of her condo perch.

She only did that paws around face position in her early days. However, throwing out one back leg over the edge of her fleece bagel was something she did all her life--which back leg would vary.

Here she is with her big sis the beautiful Milli. I brought Milli home from the shelter 2 1/2 years before Saki. After Saki's initial attempts to exterminate Milli, and a few difficult months of acclimating them, they got on very well. Though they never cuddled, they played very well together. Saki was very much the annoying little sister to Milli the Aloof Elf Princess. I need to do some Milli spam sometime as well. I miss my beautiful girls.
