Time for June to be over already

And for today's life prank, I woke up with no running hot water. The water heater system for the entire building failed and they hope it will be fixed tomorrow. I'm not one who can brave a completely cold shower, so the month of a thousand paper cuts continues . . . I am so ready for June to end. Oy.

ugh, how frustrating!

When I was in Trinidad we would regularly lose all water for about 12 hours at a time. On bonus days, electricity would go out for several hours, too! ;D Suddenly you want nothing more than water (for coffee, to drink, to take a shower, to wash something) when you know you can't have it at all...:-p

That being said, I cherish my hot showers, even in the summer! I hope yours gets back to working soon!

Another good reason NOT to be in Trinidad!

I cherish my hot showers, too---thank you! They finally got the parts and fixed it this evening--I appreciate their working late to get this fixed. Enough with the multi-day outages! I went to the aquatic center and swamp and showered there this evening--I look forward to a warm shower in the morning. (-:

I am one of those people, too, so yeah upsetting that they're still waiting for parts and hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow--everything has been multiple day problems this month.

They do have showers at the Census, so I did that yesterday, but it was a pain having to pack all my shower stuff. Today I am teleworking, so after work today I will go to the aquatic center and get a short swim and shower. All doable, just nerve wracking--my nerves will be expecting shoes to drop for the next month or so. Bleh.
