8 months makes it a little less raw, but yeah, I am still missing her much and just hanging onto gratitude that she made it to 17 and we got 16 years together.

Thank you, hon. And I didn't think she was that beautiful when I first met and fell in love with her, but just a total cutie. I was used to seal point siameses with solid points and so her markings were kind of funny to me at first. But yes she was a beauty. *hugses*

I never met a cat before who did what she did with her eyes--she would look out the corner of her eyes and back and forth without moving her head with her pupils--in other words, she could be very shifty eyed--it made her look very calculating and smart, which she was. (-:
