Change?

I'm so glad to be living in post-racial America where only 33% of whites think the police in Ferguson went too far. Too much change for the better too soon would be a little much to handle . . .

I wish I were surprised, instead of just disgusted.

I hate it that people in my age group are lumped in with the people who think race isn't the issue, or that the cops acted properly. I have been crying over what's happening in Ferguson. It breaks my heart that my country is still so full of hate and bigotry.

When I was a teen and in my early 20's I really thought that by the time I was in my sixties that we would be living in a much better, more fair and just America. Silly me.
