Finally, a campaign slogan for my whole family!

I told baranduin I'd post the whole quote this came from, so here it is:

On 10/13/16, Marina Fang of the Huffington Post quoted Hillary Clinton:

“'It makes you want to turn off the news. It makes you want to unplug the internet or just look at cat GIFs,' Mrs. Clinton told donors in San Francisco on Thursday, making her first remarks on Mr. Trump’s treatment of women since several came forward to accuse him.

'I’ve watched a lot of cats do a lot of weird and interesting things,” she said, drawing a few laughs. “But we have a job to do. And it’ll be good for people and for cats.'”

I think "Good for People and For Cats" makes a great bumper sticker.

I'm a lot more hopeful these days that we'll get Hillary for president in 2 weeks, but I'm nasty like that. I'm with purrrr!!!

Isn't she just fabulous? I love that she's so normal and human and real and lovely, even though according to most of the media she's just none of those things.

I saw Hillary speak at a rally back in 2008 and she really was great. I was a supporter back then, too. I actually voted for Bernie in this primary, liking both her and Bernie, and expecting her to win my state, but wanting to encourage her to move to the left more, since she's got a lot of pressure to move to the right. I am quite happy to vote for her in the election now and glad she has adopted his platform into her own. I think there are a lot of women who are voting for her, but are keeping quiet about it so they don't get beat on by men on either side of the spectrum.

You will enjoy my friend baranduin's posts here linking a wonderful essay and here a fabulous ode to Hillary, but I warn you it will ear worm you--it's very catchy. You'll find the comment threads are all on the livejournal copy of the posts, as with this one--many other Hillary supporters on LJ. (-:

I like that our flist are so happy to connect their Hillary loving friends with one another!:) And yeah, I know what you mean about 'secret' supporters definitely, although I do think it's getting better, it's certainly getting easier to find positive posts and links and comments as time goes on, so that's really nice.

(I crosspost between DW and LJ too, and find it turns out a bit random which side gets comments on which topics. Glad to say I have Hillary supporters on both sides, though.)

it is indeed--both the video and the music! Ivan was OK with it, even though he prefers mellowed music (ballads, soft rock, old standards and Broadway love songs).
