I'm going to attempt to do a blood glucose curve on Tuxie this weekend.

I managed to do a first reading tonight--starting this has been a big fear and procrastination conquered, with more poking of the poor baby. But fear of failing him overcame fear of lancing him and learning a new tech tool. But he hasn't been well and I'm worried about him. We see the vet on Tuesday. I'd like to have a good curve reading (testing his blood glucose levels every couple of hours throughout the day) to bring in with us.

Please send good thoughts our way.

Thank you. honey!. His poor little ears are now pin cushions but we got two 12 hour readings of his blood glucose levels to ask his doctor about on Tuesday, and I am now able to check out his blood glucose levels if he ever has another seizure so I will know how to help him, so mission accomplished, and his tummy is all better, so I'm very relieved. *hugs*

Thank you, hon! All the pets for Tuxie--he deserves them for putting up with having his ears stuck with needles all damned weekend--it was hard to do--giving him insulin needles is so much easier than drawing blood. *hugs*

Thank you, bb! He's curled beside me, having crawled into my arms earlier this evening. (-:

We did--two 12 hour blood glucose curves achieved to bring to the vet tomorrow and see what he makes of them. Thank you, hon. <3

Thank you, Jan. His tummy is all better, thank goodness, though his ears are red from all the poking I did to them this weekend. I think he was less bothered by it than I was, thank goodness. <3

Like anything, you'll get better with practice. You can do this!! *sending lots of supportive thoughts*

Thank you, hon. It helped. I did it but I don't feel like I'm any better with the lancets and still had to poke him multiple times each reading--bleh--it seemed to bother me more than him, thank goodness. But I got two 12 hour blood glucose curves for the vet to interpret tomorrow and can now take better care of him if he has another seizure, so mission accomplished.

My wee boy is feeling better, and poking him seemed to bother me more than him for which I am grateful. I got 2 days of readings to bring to the vet to interpret tomorrow, so mission accomplished. He is cured beside me right now. Thank you. sweetie. <3
