Thanks for this info! I'm trying my hardest to follow the US election here in England, but it sure is hard without a TV! Am enjoying your political updates though, so please keep them up! As you probably guessed, everyone is overwhelming anti-Bush out here.
(BTW, in case you wanted to know, I found your LJ because you are the *only* other person who has 'early modern women writers' as an interest, which is actually what I came out here to the University of Warwick to study!)
Well, over here TV doesn't tell you anything useful. I get my news from the radio and internet.
Cool! That's my academic specialty. (-: Who are you studying with? I'm dissertating right now on Margaret Cavendish under Laura Rosenthal's guidance at U of Maryland. And working as a full-time editor, so I'm taking the slow route.
How cool!! If I was staying in the US, I was deciding between U of Maryland, U of Penn, or Brown, as they all have some great opportunities on early modern ladies. I'm at the University of Warwick working with Elizabeth Clarke (of Perdita Project fame) on a gender critique of women's receipt book manuscripts and editing for the Perdita Project.
