Now that the boot is off Saki's foot and it looks like the remaining wound is at abrasion level and looks like it's starting to scab over, here's a look at the patient.

It's a beautiful spring day. I can hear all the other kids outside playing. And here I am, stuck inside with a cast on my foot FOREVER . . .

Here Saki is in her usual station on the footstool, guarding me while I am sitting on the couch with the laptop.

A very patient little girl.

I'm holding you purrsonally responsible for this. You let them put this blue thing on my paw and you expect me to wish YOU a happy Mother's Day? Be real!

For all who are held responsible for mothering, whatever gender you are, if you apply the term to yourself, Happy Mother's Day to you!

*hugs*

Aw, poor Saki. *pets*

Thank you, sweetie. I hope at least your other furry babies were good to you today.

Oh, hurray! I was hoping there'd be pictures of Saki in her fashion footwear. What a doll. Is that the "bagel" she's lounging in in the middle photos?

And to you! *huggles you*

Poor grumpy Saki. :)

all of your *cat*tionings are spot on! Mz. Saki looks properly peeved and queenish on her blue-gloved perch. I'm glad that she and you have had some respite (however brief, which, in this world, it seems every respite is!) from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.....

aww...poor little sweetie!! She looks so patient, though. My Helo is looking out the window (which is open to just a screen) and watching birds flutter around with great interest). Merlin is doing the same thing but with much more calmness.
