Iris and Caterpillar for a birthday . . .

First off, here's something purple and sensual for the one and only mews1945 on her birthday! An iris I snapped after a rain this spring. Happy birthday, my dear friend!















And secondly, here are some illustrations I snapped last fall for your loving and sweet story, Hearthfire. Please take and insert any of them if you think they fit.


I so wish I had put this little woolly bear caterpillar on my knuckles as Sam presented his to Bilbo.



Not really mums, but these flowers could pass for a spray of them. This is a better pic if you want to present the woolly bear's orange band as shorter for that season.
