Saki's appetite has been better today, so I'm feeling a little reassured. Her appetite is much bigger, though, than her desire to eat what is before her. She keeps eagerly urging me to feed her, but then eats much less than normal, so getting her weight back up is going to be a slow slog.

As always, the pics of the lake are lovely. There's a reservoir near where I live, but it stopped being such a refuge from modern times when the cell phone towers went up around it. It's going to be even worse soon, because the area just northeast of it is slated to be developed into a huge outlet mall. Ugly times coming, indeed.

I'm sorry. I understand. The amount of people walking around the lake talking loudly on cell phones, letting their dogs crap on the path and using them to push people off the path, and letting their children run wild on the path has increased in the last couple of years since they put in a nice bathroom. It's made what should be a relaxing walk so much more stressful some days.
