Hm, looks like some partial assembly has already been attempted- and now the Saki doesn't quite fit into the box. I mean, look at that tail!

AR AR AR. So glad to see Saki is so busy and happy.

Hello there, dear. :)

We should have dinner sometime. I've been wondering how things are going with you.

*pets Saki... and Tuxie and Moo*

Hiya! (-:

Dinner would be awesome. When's good?

*Saki purrs, Moo, tilts her head for more, Tuxie walks back and forth bashfully behind my legs, but happy for your attention*

When's good? Any evening except Friday and Saturday, at this point. :-p

Wednesday is good. Three Brothers would be fine. As for time, um, how about six-ish? Assuming that's okay for you? I'm usually home by 5:15p, so as long as I have time to feed the cats, I'm good. ;-)

Thank you for suggesting I go check on Brigit's food today. There was enough for at least today, and maybe tomorrow left. I can't say that's been true every week, depending on what other critters happen by week to week, but at least some weeks she may be getting 3 or 4 days of meals, so I feel lots better knowing that. She came to meet me in the rain, so I was able to give her another meal of wet food, and put out a whole other bowl of dry food I put under something that may protect it from the rain, but wet kibble shouldn't be objectionable if it doesn't. Seeing that other cats and critters aren't gobbling all the kibble makes me want to double the amount from now on and see if it can last her the week. So she is having a good week this week, at least, for filling out the corners a little. And that's such a relief for me for now. *hugs you* I think, though, she'll be getting more competition for it sooner or later.

Hooray for peace of mind. :) Yeah, I'm sure there will be some competition for the food, but at least it will be there. *hugs*

I was surprised because there is a colony of several cats, some domesticated, and some not, a few houses down that would come when I had to call Brigit and I fed all of them so that Brigit could eat in semi-peace when she showed up the first couple of months we reconnected, but I guess the church yard really isn't their regular territory and they won't come by unless they hear me--they sure know a dinner call when they hear one. (-; It's just odd to me that they wouldn't check out a place regularly when they have learned food regularly appears there--so something is up with that--either they're being fed better at that house or they're gone.

There is one feral who I've seen going in and out of a hole in the church basement who gets along with the cat colony members, but I think the church is her station, and last time I saw her, she looked very pregnant. So I've been feeding her as well--I put a couple small bowls of kibble near the hole. We'll see how many kittens will be joining us in a month or two and I'll decide what to do then.

I've also seen a coyote, a fox, and a possum around, so it's nice to know they're not going after the kibble, at least on a regular basis.
