OK, did anyone feel aftershocks a few minutes ago?

Edit: Found what I was looking for. This page for the Maryland Geological Survey is listing the aftershocks promptly.

If you find a good site listing reported aftershocks, please let me know. I've been feeling shaking a few times this afternoon-- and evening,nothing comparible tot he 5.9, but I don't know if it's just my body doing a number on me or if I'm feeling aftershocks, so having a site to check would really help.

I see that you found a good source for aftershock reports. I was just going by what was reported on the news.

Time to get ready for Hurricane Irene. D:

there were several calls to my job after the first one hit wondering if we were ok. i didn't even feel it nor any aftershocks.

I know someone in your area who felt it. There's been 3 documented aftershocks here thus far.

There have been some, but not at the times I felt them, so it was just me and my body pumping adrenaline at useless times. *crawls under rock*

OK, it's just me then, unless this couch or my buttet have special seismic detection skills. *crawls under rock*

LOL. But no, I don't think it's just you -a couple of people I follow on Twitter were reporting feeling minor aftershocks yesterday evening. So maybe it's just a matter of location at the time (perhaps my apt building is immovable? :-p).

Yeah. I've also read a lot of people experiencing the earthquake as feeling dizzy, so it's just hard to tell outside from inside stimulus around these events. Thank you. (-:

There was a 4.0 one a little after 8pm. I was outside at the time and am not sure if I felt it.

I did, but I think it was just my own body holding earthquake awareness drills without my bloody consent. (-;

I know how unsettling it is after an earthquake. You're probably going to get aftershocks for a few days.

I saw one article that said there's been 3 so far. I thought I felt one around 6:30 and another one a few minutes ago. I can't tell if I'm feeling them, or just my own adrenaline, stupid body. Maybe my couch or my buttet is more sensitive to seismic events than any meterological devices they have so far. (-;

I wish I could find a good site where they list records of each aftershock, so I could know if it's just me and my body being stupid or if something really did happen. I will keep googling.

I missed the entire thing. Lots of people in our area felt the quake but I was driving at the time and didn't even know it had happened until someone called to tell me about it.

Thanks for the link, C. You know, I've felt this funny little pressure at the back of my neck a few times. I wonder if that's aftershocks, or if, like you, it's adrenaline causing it. I know one thing, I keep expecting to feel another quake now. I'll never be quite the same person I was before yesterday.

My worst jitters did not correspond with the aftershocks they list there, but it's still possible there are seismic waves causing air compression or small localized aftershocks they're not picking up on, so we could be responding to outside stimulus. I just can't tell if I'm reacting to outside stimulus or just having the jitters. We'll get better in time. Just in time for the hurricane. *sigh* Oy. *hugs you*
