It was not nearly enough to leave any water in the creek, but we're getting more this weekend--hopefully I'll see the creek on my walk running again soon.
Things were still looking shriveled and dry at the lake afterwards, but we're getting more this weekend, so hopefully this week will give the green things enough to flourish with. I hope our browns get washed away and filled in with green soon. I hate losing summer to late fall.

ah, you know Eeyore.....he and his little cloud are off somewhere having tea together and kibitzing about how, when things go wrong (as invariably they do) they always go wrong *right* on Eeyore.....

We had a couple of good rains last week, but it wasn't enough. The grass is still brown.
