I'm going to try to go to the Prop 8 Protest in DC tomorrow if I feel up to it, lavender raincoat and rainbow umbrella at ready.

It's at 1:30 p.m. in front The Capitol Building at the Reflecting Pool.

Anyone else going?

If I wasn't already coughing up a lung and tagging the girls with me, I'd be there. Sorry!

I'm performing at UDC at that time with Batala, alas.

For the Dream Bridge Project Concert.

I was actually in DC yesterday to see the Pompeii exhibit at the National Gallery with a friend visiting from Philly. I didn't know about the protest until we crossed the Mall to get to the Metro station and got caught in a torrential downpour in the middle of the march. So I was part of it all ... for about 100 very soggy yards.

You do so many things on a normal basis, I get exhausted reading about them, so no worries. A march in a downpour is not what you needed. And I'm pissed they made it a march and didn't make that clear, not only because I got there late and wasn't able to catch up, but because it excludes a lot of people who can't keep up with marching.

Obviously, I couldn't attend, but thanks for the link and hope it went great!

I experienced that torrent in front of the Capitol Bldg, but never caught up with the marchers, so you did more of the march than me!
