Bagginess Birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday to Bilbo, Frodo, and especially, oft forgotten, early draft Bingo!!!

I went on a very Shire-like hike on Saturday morning in the Middle Patuxent Environmental Area in Howard County, and saw some things that should accompany the Bagginess on all their hikes.


Woods full of ferns and mosses gentle on the feet.




Plenty of shrooms and tasty finds.



Little rivers for refreshment.



Grand trees to rest against, like this many trunked tulip poplar.

All for a fine day's adventure.

Oh, crap! I hope she keeps her windows shut more often. I'm still out sick, which is why I had time to actually explore Yuletide and write about it.

I'm sorry you were still sick--I hope you're better. I'm home sick now--it crept up quickly yesterday afternoon. Had to go for a physical this morning, but will be napping the afternoon.
