The new stuff goes on top of the old stuff that hasn't been filed yet while the file folders are in their boxes somewhere and the file folder organizer part A will need to be attached to part K . . .
The time it takes to bring in junk is the square root of the time it takes to remember where the piece of junk is and situating or throwing out said piece of junk is double that original sum to the fourth power . . .
Best to ditch the higher math for now and tackle the 'stuff' one piece at a time with a simple question: do I keep it or get rid of it?
I started following a 'minimalist' blog a few years ago. I discovered that one of the blog's core principles really does work for me: the easiest way to organize my stuff is to just get rid of it.
And they were likely also sold as time savers, weren’t they? If someone spends X amount of time learning how to save time, then does someone also need to have Y amount of space taken up by the supposed space savers, and ... gah!
