Forest for a birthday . . .

Happy birthday, [personal profile] wordweaverlynn!!! I hope it is a day filled with love and all good things to open a wonderful year for you!

Late afternoon light on a summer's day down by Greenbelt Lake. Below the cut are some pics from last fall there . . .

The same area last October. It was not the most colorful fall, but late afternoon light always brings more color. Enjoy!

Thank you! These make me so happy.

Yes, I'm still catching up from my trip east.

You take the most GORGEOUS photos. Your lake should have its own calendar.

Thank you, bb. I've thought about making calendars--a project to make a modest profit for when I retire. Separate ones each year for the fauna, flora, trees/vistas, details/textures, and one or two that combines all the categories for people to choose from or buy one of each for different rooms. (-:

It's kept me going in circles for 20 years now, so it better be good. (-;

Wow! The colours are amazing! And your photos are one of the best I've ever seen.
As [livejournal.com profile] shirebound said - your photos should have its own calender.

*prints all*

I'll take them to my survival suitcase :-)
Just to explain it: I own a little old brown suitcase I got from my grandma years ago. And in this I put all treasures I'm finding: stones, dried flowers, an oddly formed fir cone, ficlets, letters, LJ posts and photos. Now you and your pictures (these and some of your cats) are part of it and of me.
I should think about a new and bigger one... :-)
