kittyfosterami, who asked me a while ago for pics of the meezer-mix stray I've been feeding from time to time when I see him. I finally got pics a few weeks ago.

Nori the Stray/Feral Meezer Mix, outside my building, 6-13

He let me get a little over a car length away, which is the closest I had been near him and I haven't gotten that close since. I'm calling him Nori now because of the star shape of the white patch on his face. If you don't remember, Nori was the dwarf in the film who had the star shaped hair style. Look at those beautiful meezer blue eyes. I don't know his gender for sure, but due to his good size and long legs, I'm leaning toward him being a male.

Here's some pics of him from out my window as he was eating from the bowl I brought him. From the back, Nori looks pure siamese. It breaks my heart to see him so feral, because meezers are so social and so delight in, and are so good at owning humans. The back of a siamese head with the dark ears over the cream head always makes me all squishy inside.

Look at that big floofy tail. Nori's a lot like Brigit in that he will follow me when I call to him to come by my building to get food, but he won't let me get near him yet, so I'm really doubtful he belongs to someone who lets him out. Though I do highly suspect he may have a regular feeder from what good shape he looks like he's in, and the fact that he passed up a second helping of food one time.

He is truly lovely. I hope he learns to trust you but I do know well how long that can take.

Yeah, I think if he did live in a home with humans, he would have approached me to rub my legs and mark me with his scent, or let me approach him by now, since he trusts me to be a feeder worth following all the way around the block for. So I suspect this star kitty is feral, even if he didn't start out that way.
