Earthquake

Did anyone in the DC metro area feel a 3 second tremor at 2:06 pm? I was feeding Tuxie and he ran and then I felt a tremor and a cabinet door rattled.

I missed that one. Something is going on. We may get a big quake one of these days.

I thought of you first thing. MIne hasn't made it onto the Maryland geological survey either but my furry witness will vouch for me. (-: I guess they're smaller seismic events than 1 point worth--localized tremors. It does make you wonder if they're warning tremors.

That's scary to hear. I'm glad it was nothing more than that. *hugs*

Thank you! *hugs back* Well, I look at it this way: if we do get an earthquake out here, it'll be radiating from an inland fault line and we won't have to worry about a tsunami.

Nope! But then, I've been downing enough caffeine lately that I can vibrate in my desk chair, so I may have dismissed it. ;)

What is it with 2pm and earthquakes? The one in August was right around 2, also.

(Thanks for the cute ecard, dear! :) )

Maybe you generated the earthquake! (-:

Was it? Huh.

You're welcome--I just hope you're feeling better today, hon. *hugs*

First Mews felt one and now you, what's going on? We're supposed to be safe in this pt of the country.

Well, look on the bright side: at least we don't have to worry about tsunamis. (-:

Please take care, dear.

Between this and Mews's feeling one the other day, I really hope a big one isn't coming...*frets a bit*

Earthquakes are so scary! I hope you don't have any more tremoring!
