Happy Baggins Birthday!
My MESPT friends here may remember the Bingo Bolger-Baggins koala bear connection I wrote about. I once explained here how I fannishly-canonically came about this connection from a footnote in the History of Middle Earth. So in honor of the Baggins birthday, and for those of you who enjoyed the filmverse, I bring you a picture of the only known (so far, by people in print) Frodolijah-eyed koala bear:
A couple of weeks ago, I goggled up this little fellow who was born last year, and my fannish LotR- and koala-loving heart was filled with glee.
