She was smart and funny and founded deadbrowalking and co-modded sex_and_race, whihc were vibrant little think tank communities on LJ a few years back. She was a year or 2 younger than me. I knew she had some health things going on, last I IMed with her a few weeks back, but they didn't sound major, and it feels like she was taken mid-step.
